Some words are slogans. Others are truths. For me, this simple phrase — Crafted by hand. Guided by heritage. — is both.
It describes not just what I do, but how I live.
Every rug I restore, every yarn we spin at Woolway Studios, every plant we collect for natural dyeing — it all begins with the hands. And those hands are never alone. They carry generations of knowledge, culture, and memory.
The hand remembers what the mind forgets.
To be guided by heritage is not to be stuck in the past — it’s to carry the past forward with intention, skill, and care. I hope this site, and my work, speak that language clearly.
