In August 2025, Woolway Studios celebrates its 5th anniversary — five years of weaving heritage, restoring tradition, and building community through craft.
Founded in August 2020 in Armenia, Woolway Studios began as a small natural dyeing initiative and has since grown into a living art and craft space dedicated to textile heritage, sustainability, and cultural exchange.
Over the past five years, Woolway Studios has:
• Hosted natural dyeing, handspinning, weaving, and rug restoration workshops
• Welcomed artisans, travelers, and researchers from around the world
• Developed into a creative guesthouse and art center near Zvartnots Airport
• Supported traditional knowledge through hands-on learning and contemporary interpretation
Woolway Studios today includes:
- Woolway Studios Art Center & Guesthouse in Argavand, Armenia
- Workshops and residencies in textile arts and cultural heritage
- Custom rug weaving and antique rug restoration
- A growing artisan archive and educational platform
